Arrival in Tashkent in the evening. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

TASHKENT-URGENCH-KHIVA

After the breakfast, excursion along the city.

Nearly every trip to Uzbekistan begins from the capital city of Uzbekistan that is one of the biggest cities in Central Asia and has a history of more than 2200 years. Visit:

  • Architectural complex Khast Imam where the Barak Khan Madrasa and the Tila Shaikh Mosque (also called the Khast Imam Mosque) are located, in whose library is preserved the 7th century Osman Koran, considered the oldest in the world. Also the new building that the Islamic Civilization Center is constructing.
  • Chorsu Bazar - the oldest bazaar in Tashkent
  • Independence Square (Ezgullik Arл, Monument of Independence, Monument of the Grieving Mother and Alley of Memory);
  • The Palace of Konstantin Romanov - an overview of the outside;
  • Theatrical square of the Alisher Navoi (Bolshoi Theatre) - an overview of the outside;
  • Amir Timur Square and Tashkent "Broadway".
  • Tashkent underground (if time permits)

 

Evening flight to Urgench. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel in Khiva.

KHIVA

  • After breakfast, the day is entirely dedicated to visiting Khiva. The old part of the city is called Ichan Kala (which was included by UNESCO in the list of places considered "World Heritage" in 1991 https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/543/ ) and is surrounded by a long and mighty mud wall, 2.5 km long, on which there are four gates. The most important is the western one, called Ata Darvoza. Visit:

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bukhara via desert. Arrival to Bukhara by evening time. Check-in to the hotel and overnight.

BUKHARA

Today is the day dedicated to visiting Bukhara. “If Samarkand is the wonder of the earth, Bukhara is the wonder of the spirit”. Bukhara has been one of the most important trading centers on the Great Silk Road for many centuries, that is why there are most of the caravanserais and covered bazaars that attract tourists to this day. Visit:

BUKHARA-SAMARKAND

Transfer to Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world, contemporary with Athens, Rome and Babylon. Samarkand is more than 2500 years old. In the east Samarkand is called “precious pearl”, “aspect of the earth”.

  • The Guri-Emir mausoleum and the burial tomb of the Timurids dynasty resemble from afar a blue tulip with closed turquoise petals.
  • Registan Square is the heart of Samarkand. Registan (“sand square”) called the pearl of Central Asia is one of the most beautiful squares in the world and the symbol of the city. Inside the square are the Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tillakori Madrassahs.
  • Ulugbek observatory - is a largest observatory in Central Asia which was built in 1420 by Ulugbeg (the grandson of Tamerlane)
  • Siyab Bazaar - is the most famous and most important bazaar in Samarkand

SAMARKAND-TASHKENT

Today we visit:

  • Bibi-Khanum Mosque (15th c.)
  • Shakhi-Zinda architectural complex (10th-19th c.) which consists of several mausoleums.

Transfer to Tashkent (by Afrosiab high-speed train). Upon arrival transfer to the hotel & accommodation.

DEPARTURE

Transfer to the Tashkent International airport to take a flight to home.
