Meeting at the international airport in Samarkand.

You will be met by a representative of Caucasia Travel with a sign.

The excursion begins at Registan Square - ("sand square"), called the pearl of Central Asia, is one of the most beautiful squares in the world and a symbol of the city. The center of Samarkand since the time of Tamerlane, inside the square are the madrasahs of Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tillakori.

We continue our walk through the interesting places of delightful Samarkand. After visiting Registan Square, we go to see one of the main attractions of the city - the Gur-Emir mausoleum, known as the tomb of Tamerlane.

You will learn the legend about Tamerlane's wife, the beautiful Bibi-khanum, who, upon her husband's return, built him a mosque as a gift, the likes of which the world had never seen - the Bibikhanum Mosque - built in 1399-1400.

We will visit the oldest bazaar in Tashkent, which is more than 2000 years old - Chorsu Bazaar.
